Tina was a 16 year-old girl who was shot by a trigger-happy policeman two days ago at Oworo, Lagos.

She was just standing at the junction close to her locale when the bullet hit her. She gave up the ghost after few minutes when bystanders tried helping her get medical assistance.

Police Brutality in Nigeria has been a problem for many years. Many times, the Nigerian Police have killed youths including young footballers, musicians, artists, artisans, students, and other innocent civilians in their usual despicable manner of enforcing law and order.

Remember Kolade Johnson? Remember the Remo Stars footballer who was allegedly pushed off a moving vehicle on the express road by men of the Special Anti Robbery Squad, popularly known as SARS?

The Nigerian Police in their cowardice has continued to prevent young people from achieveing their dreams.

They end the lives of ambitious youths everyday and make parents and loved ones live with the pains of losing their family members forever!

This petition is to call on the government of Nigeria; President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor of Lagos State; Jide Sanwoolu and other well meaning Nigerians to help young Tina get justice.

It could have been any of us!

Sign the petition and share expressly across board!
