Nigerian Senate should compel the President to withdraw python dance from the South East

The South East of Nigeria is the most peaceful zone of the country with some of the best human development indexes in Nigeria in spite of the situation of the country.
Recently the federal government of Nigeria under President Muhammadu Buhari directed a discriminatory military operation against the people of the South East of Nigeria, a people who he has consistently discriminated against in his appointments in the defence and other sectors.
There is no insurgency in the South East, yet the Federal government has unleashed the Nigerian Army on the unarmed defenceless civilian population. This country is Democratic and the actions of the Federal government is intended to provoke the already disenfranchised people of the South East. It also sets a precedent for the overthrow of our Democratic institutions and the militarization of the country.
Innocent lives will be lost as it is not the job of the Nigerian military to perform police duties. They are not trained for it and they will make fatal mistakes. When people are killed, relatives will seek vengeance. In order words, the feared insurgency will become a reality. Radicalized anti-Nigerian views will become dominant and the second Nigerian civil war will start. No country can survive two civil wars. Save Nigeria.
Compel the Federal Government of Nigeria to withdraw operation python dance from the South East of Nigeria before this python swallows us all and causes the break-up of Nigeria.
