Why this petition matters

Started by Joseph Olatunde

Bamise was found dead early this month (March, 2022) after she boarded a Lagos State government owned transport company (BRT) on her way home from her workplace at night. She happened to be murdered by a group of ritualists (most likely aided by the bus driver and the bus staffs) who cut out her private part and then dumped her on the third mainland bridge, naked.

Bamise was someone's daughter, friend, sister, and one of the hope of this nation. She planned completing her fashion designing program just to make a good life for herself, her family and our society. But, she was taken in a bloody manner from us.

Bamise was a hard-working Nigerian youth struggling to make a life for herself just like every other hardworking Nigerian youths. Unfortunately, she was killed by a cruel men who had the confidence and effontry to use a government owned bus to execute such an evil act.

We want you to sign this petition so that Bamise will receive the due justice and so that this kind of evil act may stop in our society.

We know that killings like this have happened in the past and keeps happening in this country (Nigeria) without any justice whatsoever. But, we want this to be different.

We want a change in our justice system.

Kindly sign the petition.
