Dear Governor Obaseki, please sign into law ban on open grazing and support the ongoing clamor for state collection of VAT. Edo state has been bedeviled with security and economic challenges.

The recent statistics of receivables from “HARAM” alcohol has shown that we are shortchanged about N400 million from possible receivables from VAT from alcohol alone. As you continue to seek IGR for our dear state, this is not something to be politicized about. We need to build Edo state to be financially viable. 

Open grazing is the major cause of desertification which is inimical to Agriculture: The handiwork of Edo people from time immemorial. Criminal elements also use the guise of nomadic herding to perpetuate their nefarious agendas which include colonization of Edo territories and terrorism. 

it is in the interest of Edo people that you do this Governor Obaseki as posterity will be unfair to whoever stands in the way of the masses. Time to stand up
