Petition regarding 74 Royal York Rd. Daycare   Proposed Daycare facility

Hello fellow residents of the Royal York and Lake Crescent area,

We are asking you to sign a petition as a means of voicing your opposition to a proposed Daycare facility at 74 Royal York Rd ( corner of Royal York and Lake Crescent). The Daycare plans to have up to 19 staff and up to 90 children.  There is only parking for 4 vehicles on this property which means the side streets, especially Lake Crescent on both sides of Royal York, will be crammed with vehicles.  Drop offs will have to be done either on Royal York, which will block traffic and the Bike lane, or Lake Crescent which would create a very busy and dangerous log jam.

If this application goes through, it will create a traffic nightmare for our community.  There will be constant traffic, congestion and noise.

MOST IMPORTANTLY… It would be very dangerous to the safety of local residents and their children, and also the children at the Daycare.

There is a public hearing on Thursday June 29, 2017 at 1:00

Council Chamber, Etobicoke Civic Centre, 399 The West mall

For those that cannot attend, any emails, voicing your concerns, which you would like to have included in the hearing can be sent to :
