Channel 4 to air the film Calais Children so the public can know the facts

Sue Clayton has made a powerful film that tries to answer the question: "What happenned to the 2000 children who were living in the Calais Jungle before its demolition?"
It is my belief that our Government failed these children, most of whom have a legal right to come to the UK. Just a few hundred of those children have been brought to the UK so far.
Our government is supposed to be accountable to the people. But how can we as people hold them accountable if we don't know what they are doing? I am constantly horrified by the degree to which so many people in the UK misunderstand the situation in Calais and believe this has been manufactured by failings of our media.
This petition is calling for Channel 4 to air the film for the nation to view.
Many of the children have disappeared, many are living in unthinkable conditions and rapidly losing hope. The French police have fired rubber bulllets and tear gas at them but we, as British tax payers, have been paying for them to do this. How can one of the richest countries in the world sit back and allow this to happen to the most vulnerable of children just 20 miles away from our coast? Please sign this petition and lets start getting the facts understood, if nothing else it may help us maintain our own democracy.
