The 'Condem' Government has pulled all social sector funding and as a result womens refuges all over the UK now face closure. They cannot simply survive through local fundraising alone. Milions of taxpayers money is donated each year in Foreign Aid without our consent and yet women and children (UK residents) seeking refuge from dangerous situations and living through the hell of mental, sexual and physical abuse will soon have nowhere they can go, let alone move on from abuse. PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION TO SAVE OUR REFUGES AND TO MAKE OUR GOVERNMENT DO THE RIGHT THING AND CONTINUE VITAL FUNDING FOR THEM AND THE SUPPORT SERVICES THEY PROVIDE. Thank you from The H BOMB! Organisation/Network which raises awareness about domestic abuse and money to help those affected through live music festivals.

Continue Funding Refuges for Women and Children in the UK

Dear Sir,

as a former victim of domestic violence some 15 years ago I experienced great difficulty in fleeing dangerous/violent situations as each time I tried to get into a refuge there was no room.

The UK womens Refuges are full to bursting with women and children, from ALL walks of life who are trying desperately to move forward from mental, sexual and physical abuse.

I began campaigning through my organisation H BOMB! raising important issues surrounding abuse and lifting the taboo's. We raise awareness through ive music festivals and moeny for those affected which we donate to refuges - but it is not enough!

ALL UK refuges, as you know, now face closure if they cannot raise enough money to stay open and offer life saving refuge to women and children.

I cannot understand how millions of pounds in Foreign Aid can be donated overseas and yet there is NO funding for UK Refuges.

You have a duty to look after UK citizens that are placed in vulnerable situations and I implore you to CONTINUE TO FUND UK REFUGES!
