The current issue we face in the Pokemon Go Community is the reversion of the pandemic benefits in the United States and New Zealand. specifically, in particular to the interaction distance change from 80 meters, back to 40 meters. I can fully understand why people are frustrated. Some people cant leave their homes and others do not want to have to cross the street to hit a particular Pokestop or Gym.

I have a (possible) solution that could satisfy those who want the disatnce, those who want to explore, and Niantic, who wants people to explore artound them whil enjoying their game.

Niantic would revert the interaction distance back to 80 meters, BUT they would also implement a system that allows for players to receive bonus rewards from a stop, which would become greater the closer you are to said Pokestop or Gym. (in the same sense that you receive extra rewards for spinning a gym photo disc that belongs to your team). This would allow those who need the 80 meter distance to be satisfied, as well as reward those who go out and explore the world around them.

I ask that we sign this petition so that Niantic will see it in the hopes to get a sytem like this implemented so our community will stop being divided. It would also strengthen the belief that a community can influence a game that they are passionate about.
