Michael Rand started this petition to Niantic

In the year 2020, Niantic had to change their game due to the global circumstances, which not only kept people safe it unintentionally helped the disabled and rural trainers play the game, which made Niantic more money. On June 21st, 2021, Niantic announced that the bonuses would be disappearing in the US & NZ at the very end of July, which was a slap in the face to trainers with limited mobility, plus there’s a new variant of the virus. They also said that the spin distance would be changed back. They haven’t mentioned anything about spawn points but, that could be next  The CEO of Niantic, as well as some of their staff, have been pushing us to go outside during the the peak of the pandemic, which is dangerous during these times, and now with the “meet you out there hashtag” going around. An in-person photoshoot proves that Niantic was desperate to remove these bonuses ASAP.  As for disabled players, while the game isn't “intended” for disabled players, we deserve to play. We want Niantic to follow ADA guidelines to make the game more accessible to everyone. Pokemon is for everyone and not just Niantic. After all, we are all one injury away from not being able to play. As a fan of the Pokémon franchise since I was a child, I want everyone to be able to enjoy all Pokémon games, and that includes rural & disabled trainers. Disabled players aren’t “lazy.” We can’t play due to limited mobility. We all love Pokémon Go, but Niantic does not care about the quality of the game or its players' safety. Let’s get Pokémon Go to a company that cares about quality and customer concerns, and disabled players. I hope to get the attention of popular influencers #SavePokemonGo
