A legitimate walk toggle activated in the official PokémonGO game app through application.

Dear Niantic,

I have spoken with many video game enthusiasts who have played the Pokémon games through their childhoods and were very excited about the launch of PokémonGO. Unfortunately, due to the nature of their disabilities be that chronic illness preventing daily excursions, physical disability preventing mobility, or mental illness preventing them from the social aspects, these players can not play in the traditional able bodied way required by the PokémonGO game.

Some opted to play through illegitimate cheating apps, but many have opted not to play at all as they don’t know these apps exist.

What I’m hoping to achieve is a switch within the legitimate app, or a version released only to those who apply and are given an activation code which can be used on one device only. This would enable the disabled to enjoy your game from their homes, hospitals, or day residences, without having their accounts banned.

I’m not petitioning for the previous accounts that have been banned due to spoofing/cheating to be lifted. I’m hoping for an option for new players. Through an application and screening process, you can open the market to these people.

Thank you for your consideration.
