Niagara University’s dining services lately have not been worth what we pay for. Services, especially those accommodating to students with dietary restrictions; have been cut due to understaffing. Completely recognizing this isn’t the staffs fault, but at the end of the day we, as students; pay so much money for food we cannot access. 

Some key examples of student complaints have been the following: lack of dietary restriction accommodations, lack of drink options (as multiple machines are broken at a time), lack of food variety, and quality of the food. Multiple complaints of flies surrounding the salad station, alongside bugs being found in drinks are some of the complaints students have reported. 

We are asking that the University reduces the cost of the meal plan this semester, as we are not receiving all the services we pay for. It is simply unfair to students to have to pay for food that the student body cannot have full access to.
