Separate women experiencing a miscarriage from maternity waiting areas.

This is something that is very close to my heart and something I feel we can all get behind and change!

Women who are going through a miscarriage and still going through the ulstrasound process before deciding what is best, are expected to wait in the usual maternity ultrasound waiting room with multiple expectant mothers exchanging notes on breastfeeding and name choices.

They have to come out of the room after being told their baby has no heart beat to a room of happy people all waiting to see their baby on the screen or find out the sex. There is no procedure in place to help the woman's mental health, instead she is dangled in a room full of things she could have had but as people will tell her "it's not your time yet".

Something needs to be done. Women are expected to get on with it, it wasn't meant to be and all that jazz. There is nothing anyone can do if you are going to have a miscarriage, but there  is something we can do to prevent more hurt and stress from waiting rooms of bumps and scan pictures.
