Being pregnant is a worrying time and you think you are in safe hands and bribery given good advice when attending the hospital. This 28 week rule appears to be putting babies’ lives at risk and needs to be changed.

It,s important to scan before 28 wks. Stop putting £££££ before unborn babies

I am signing as I was very lucky to have my triplet daughters who were born at 28 wks if I had been carrying only one baby it might have been a different story because of this rule

My daughter who is 6 weeks old was delivered at 33 weeks and the placenta had been normal 1 day on scan and next day was decreased movements so they scanned me to say that my placenta was working so hard I had a few days to get her out so had her on the Friday luckily I still have my baby girl where other parents don't I'm sorry for your loss xx

I lost my first baby this way.. Even paying for a scan myself - totally understand NHS resources stretched. And young inexperienced first time pregnancies do tend to panic when all is well. My baby was fully grown

No mother should go through this heartache because a simple matter of weeks may have changed the outcome.
