I just don’t know what to do with my frustration anymore. How can the MPs be allowed to give themselves another pay rise for ‘all the extra work they did over covid’ but not have the money to give a pay rise to people who put in huge amounts of training and dedication to their professions and actually save lives, literally. Some of the most under appreciated and underpaid workers are those who are the most important for our country and survival. They care for the sick and save the lives of people, caring for them from their birth to their last days. Some of them teach the children of the country and are treated like rubbish. Some of the hours people do for their jobs mean that their lives suffer for it but what can they do, no one just walks out in the middle of a life or death situation for instance, despite the fact that they aren’t getting paid for that time. 
Having joined the NHS in recent years I cannot explain the impact this job can have on you. It can be physically and emotionally exhausting, the hours put in can be like nothing else and the pay you get is just about enough to live and get by. I know this is more than some get and some people may feel this isn’t worth while or fair to focus on but there is no other job like being a nurse or healthcare professional. What you do in your day to day job is almost something many people cannot comprehend and MPs seemingly need no training and no standards to be held to. 
I just needed to try and take some action and hope some people feel the same. It CANNOT be allowed to continue.
