Weird Al Yankovic is a national treasure with a career spanning over 40 years. He has brought joy to millions and reminded us all, artist and audience alike, to not take ourselves too seriously. Think of your favorite Weird Al song. (Everyone has one.) Now, imagine it being performed in an NFL stadium in front of 80,000 people, all of them chanting, "AL! AL! AL!"

I just got chills. 

A petition was started a few years ago for this purpose but ultimately failed; Al said that he didn't think he would ever be on the NFL's "short list" for the halftime show.

Let's put Al on that list! Sign this petition and let the NFL know that Al Yankovic is a beloved artist whose appeal transcends all genres of music. His Halftime Show will be one of the greatest in Super Bowl History and all the NFL has to do is take a chance and Dare to Be Stupid.
