Since super bowl 45 football fans have been forced to look at the same boring silver logo. Years previous to that had unique logos that highlighted host cities, culture and current events. See superbowl 36 depicting a red, white and blue USA to show respect for 9/11. See superbowl 31 with a Madi gras themed logo celebrating the host city of New Orleans. The superbowl is basically a holiday whether you are a fan of the teams in it or not, you don't even have to follow or like football to enjoy the day, the parties and the game. A unique and exciting logo can only elevate the games prestige. I am shocked from a business stand point the NFL does not want or went away from a unique logos. People want to buy unique merchandise, and fans want a unique memory of their championship team. My personal standpoint is regardless of the teams participating in the super bowl, it is my favorite holiday. Anything we can do to make it more special for all is a plus. From the parties miles away to the game, from the greatest commercials of the year to the half time show snafus, the superbowl has touched us all. Crushing losses or victorious memories that stick with you for life, the super bowl is exactly that..super! Help me make the logo for each year from here on out super as well.
