Super Bowl the Sunday before Presidents Day
0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!
An average of 16 million people call out sick from work the day after the Super Bowl. This causes countless hours and millions of dollars in lost production in the American workforce. These numbers do not include the additional millions of Americans who show up late or are completely unproductive the day after the big game. We will never be able to make Super Bowl Monday a national holiday, so why not have it coincide with an existing one?
Dear National Football League,
In the name of America, please do what needs to be done to shift Super Bowl Sunday to the same weekend as Presidents' Day. Add two more weeks to the schedule. Give teams additional bye weeks. Start the season two weeks later. Us hard-working Americans would love to be able to view the FULL game without putting our work attendance on the line.
