Pottstown Firebirds started this petition to NFL and

The NFL has many exhibits that they change throughout the year, we once reached out to the Canton Pro Football Hall of Fame and they stated “ that they didn’t had the funds to have a display”, the request a few months back was regarding having a small exhibit regarding the Pottstown Firebirds, this could be changed to honor the minor league that the NFL actually had as a partnership with the ACFL in the late 1960’s, most football fans arent aware of this.

Aside from many teams in this league being able to wear old hand down NFL uniforms, they also had a constant flow of players being called by these teams, such as ACFL players included Pro Bowl fullback Marvin Hubbard, league leading running back Mel Meeks, kicker Booth Lusteg, three-time championship winning quarterback Jim "The King" Corcoran, eventual 11-year NFL veteran Bob Tucker and many others.

We feel as if it’s the right time to acknowledge by the display of some memorabilia i can loan via the Firebirds items i acquired throughout the years for this exposition to have minimal costs to them, yet a high reward of making people aware of a important history in the NFL history!
