The referees for the New Orleans Saints NFC Championship game on 1/20/2019 missed at minimum TWO egregious penalties on one play; a pass interference and helmet-to-helmet. Either penalty would’ve given the Saints first-and-goal inside the 10 yard line. If the LA Rams defensive player, Nickell Robey-Coleman, WAS penalized (as he should have been), this one call could have dramatically changed the outcome of the game!

The NFL does have a mechanism that could, theoretically, give the Ne Orleans Saints another shot at going to the Super Bowl after the league ADMITTED the officials blew the call on a play late in the NFC Championship that should have been called pass interference AND a helmet to helmet hit on the Rams. Read on!

"The Commissioner has the sole authority to investigate and take appropriate
disciplinary and/or corrective measures if any club action, non-participant interference, or calamity occurs in an NFL game which the Commissioner deems so extraordinarily unfair or outside the accepted tactics encountered in professional football that such action has a major effect on the result of the game." So what can corrective measures can the commissioner take?  "The reversal of a game’s result or the rescheduling of a game, either from the beginning or from the point at which the extraordinary act occurred." In a phone call with New Orleans Saints Head Coach Sean Payton, the NFL ADMITTED they missed calling the penalty!

"After the game, Saints head coach Sean Payton said he spoke with representatives from the NFL about the missed penalty against the Rams on Saints wide receiver Tommylee Lewis, and he said that the league admitted to him that the call was blown and that Los Angeles should have been penalized." There is a rule that allows for the NFL Commissioner to call for a re-do!

We may still lose but we deserve the chance to try! Let's share and demand a re-do!
