In 2016 Colin Kaepernick was blackballed by all 32 NFL teams and the ability for him to provide for his family was taken away because he chose to take a knee and peacefully protest the murder of a unarmed black man that lost his life to a cop. Fast forward to 4 years later and now NFL commissioner makes a statement about the current situation and how the league is in support of the injustices being done to blacks at the hands of corrupt cops. Where was this level of sympathy and understanding when Kaepernick made a stand?

I feel that we the people and fans of football can make a difference by boycotting football until Commissioner Roger Goodell makes a public apology to Mr. Kaepernick and admit how the NFL responded irresponsibly and insensitive to what was going on at the time in 2016. It's clear to see that many now side or at least understand what Kaepernick's actions were for. So along with verbally speaking on his behalf, join me in signing this petition and force the NFL to do what's right. Money and power can't control the hearts of Americans!
