We live in a society full of hate and ignorance. The justice system in America was designed to punish the GUILTY for crimes they’ve committed. Once the punishment is served the individual should be given his or her rights and freedoms back without prejudice. However, that is the perfect world and we live in an America that believes in harboring hate and resentment against its citizens, especially if you’re a Black American. This has to end. This is bigger than Michael Vick.
This is about any person whose made a mistake in life and sincerely has accepted responsibility for their actions and turned away from the life or actions that lead to trouble. We have to look at people as human beings and be color blind. Let’s be more informed about who we are and whose we are. CHANGE starts with educating ourselves daily about the injustices that exist in our communities. CHANGE is the ability to rationalize with your peers and learn the ability to compromise. 
Let us not be so closed minded that we continue to persecute individuals who have been prosecuted and found guilty of their crimes. Let’s not give them a LIFE sentence because they made a bad decision.  Let us all be able to show more compassion to our fellow Americans and visitors regardless of their  religious beliefs, the color of their skin and the language they speak. Let us show more love.
