Alan Faneca has been denied the Hall of Fame every time since elligible. He is more deserving than any candidate who has been in the same ballot with him. Alan was diagnosed with epilepsy when he was 15 years old and has had to deal with it his whole life. Football causes fatigue, dehydration, stress and head damage all of these cause seizures. Alan not only had the physical toughness but also the mental toughness to deal with his epilepsy and had a phenomenal career.

His career includes Super Bowl win (XL), 9x Pro-Bowler ,6x First-team All-Pro, 2x Second-team All- Pro, Steelers All-Time Team, NFL 2000s All-Decade Team,Jacobs Blocking Trophy and more.

However he is being denied the Hall of Fame. I was diagnosed with Epilepsy when I was 6 years old. As I was getting older I became depressed about my condition and didn't think I should live anymore. Then my dad told me about Alan, his epilepsy and it never got in his way. Alan has been an inspiration to me since I was 6 and a half. I've had 3 brain surgeries and 2 other surgeries to place devices in my body. Alan's story helped give the determination I've needed to get through those changes. He's one of my biggest heros.
