Reef Norton started this petition to NFL

As many of you will know, beloved cartoonist, voice actor, marine biologist, and creator of Spongebob Squarepants, Stephen Hillenburg unfortunately passed away on the 26th of November, 2018. As a tribute to his memory, Isreal Colunga started this petition to have Sweet Victory played at the 2019 Superbowl in reference to the 2001 episode "Band Geeks". In lieu of that petition receiving over 1.2 million signatures, the Superbowl had acknowledged it, and it seemed that all was set for this epic ballad to be belted out by fans. What we recieved instead was a five second clip of the character Squidward hyping up the show, the original horn fanfare from the episode, followed by Sicko Mode, by Travis Scott. Sweet Victory was not played, and Stephen Hillenburg was not mentioned.

Understandably, many fans are upset, myself included, and I would like to see the NFL apologize and perhaps even make up for this gross and intentional misleading of dedicated fans who just wanted to see Stephen Hillenburg remembered.
