Josh Banville started this petition to NFL

As I’m sure you’re aware, the most recent Suoer Bowl’s halftime show was a tad underwhelming. We the people of the United States of America expected the musical number Sweet Victory from popular television show Spongebob Squarepants to be performed at the show. Not only would have everyone enjoyed it, but it would be an appropriate and meaningful way to honor the late genius behind many of our childhoods, Stephen Hillenburg. As shown evident by floods of disappointed and hateful comments shortly after the halftime performance, the people were not too satisfied with Maroon 5 having not sang Sweet Victory. All that America is asking from the NFL now is simply an apology. An apology for the disappointment they have created. Together, we can have our voices heard and seek the justice we are after. Thank you.
