More Cameras For Vulnerable Disabled Children

More and more unimaginable complaints are being raised against the very people paid to take care of the disabled children in Newport. Most recently a teacher tied a 6 year old girl described as "small for her age" to a chair. A child that has autism and cannot speak, then had her ability to move taken away, by the very person there to care for her. The teacher has admitted to what she did. The Education Workforce has said she can go back to work. This gives a clear sign that our most vulnerable children are not safe even when reported to authorities.
After many years of serious complaints regarding transport and school staff, we would like to see cameras on the transport and within the communal areas and "calming room" at Maes Ebbw.
There are many Teachers and staff at Maes Ebbw that have a genuine passion for their jobs and the children, but something needs to be done to ensure the safety of our children.
