How delightful that the Thames Barrier Park is being revamped! Pity that one of the benches seems to be facing the wrong way. Currently, the bench faces the DLR station, the hedge and the iconic dog poo bins. Many of the park’s frequent visitors are very perplexed about this. One 70 year old lady commented that if the bench is to face the other way, she could sit and enjoy the sun in the morning and watch her dog play on the green. But at the moment, she can only see the bins!
Please Newham Council, we would really want to enjoy the views of the park and not the bins. Thank you.
