Oxana Jordan started this petition to Newcastle Upon Tyne City Counsil

This petition is to raise enough support to allow the planning permission to pass at Lilly & Pea Childminders at 162 Sackville Road, Newcastle upon Tyne. We are a Childcare on Domestic premises and provide child care to a number of families. An objection has been raised with regards to parking issues and noise in the area as well as congestion due to the number of people picking up and dropping off at certain times.
We compiled and provided a Traffic Report as evidence in support of our application that parents are only outside of the setting for a matter of minutes when they are dropping off and collecting children and there is still a good amount of parking spaces available throughout the day. Also a lot of parents live in close proximity to the setting and walk to collect at pick up and drop off times. We are a small setting and provide care mainly for families of vital key workers and have worked throughout all lockdowns to provide much needed care to all who need it.
In regards of noise, we paid for Acoustic   report and proposed a plan of work to minimise the noise spreading to connected properties. We are agreeing, even at a great cost to us to complete the noise reduction work necessary. We also reduced the number of children attending and have taken some time off to reduce the noise until we get the resolution. We are a hard working team, we do our best to provide a safe, healthy and educational environment for children, while doing our best in supporting the parents during this very stressful time.
If you are happy to sign and agree with the above statements, please do so, it will be much appreciated and go a long way to hopefully getting the planning passed.

Thank you all in advance.
