Newburgh School Board Needs a Change Protect Darren Stridiron
After the recent settlement with Mr. Padilla made by our school Board with the exception of 3 who stood against the payout. The school board 6 have violated the trust of the community, School District, taxpayers and students. They have stated in the documents that Dr.Padilla did commit 2 allegations but unclear if it would be enough to terminate him. There is no transparency regarding the outcome of the investigation and have continued to be silent not just with media but with the community, tax payers and district, those whom voted them into their position. Many members on the school board have been there for too long and feel they are entitled to be there. We must show them that everyone is replaceable and we can and will take steps to ensure they do not serve the community and district any longer. We need 2000 signatures to submit a notice of recall against the 6 board members “who voted yes” in this insane deal which will likely cripples the community, to have them removed and let them know that we as a community the City and Town’s coming together as one and will not stand for this and we are tired of how the school board does not listen to the people who voted them and the teachers and employees who work in the schools or the students of the community. They have sent a clear message to the community and the victims that anyone, man or women whom have been assaulted or harassed in their eyes you mean nothing to their own personal agenda. This is a Call Too Action for all residence or Newburgh and New Windsor. They must go!! We must take control away and put it back into the hands of the community. Complaints have been submitted to the DA, and the Attorney General’s office and to the NY State Education Commissioner with information that has been submitted to reflect not just violations made in part by the board regarding the payout and investigation but numerous other violations they have committed against the community which contradict their own written laws.
Ask those board members, where are the underacted investigators reports, just identifying information should be removed not every word in a sentence but one word. Where is the video tape, as one of the incidents was caught on tape. Where is the apology to the victims. NY state former Governor Cuomo could not get away with it and resigned the same should go for the 6 board members, and at least he apologized publicly to the victims. Shame on those members of the school board!!!
Make a public request for the 6 members to resign so the community and victims and students can begin to heal.
TAKE A STAND AND SHOUT OUT SO THEY HEAR YOUR VOICE, NO MORE, THE BOARD MUST GO!
