Reduce the speed limit to 50kmh at the western end of McNulty Road Cromwell

I am 10 years old and live at the western end of McNulty Road (between SH6 and Summerfields Estate). I love walking and biking to school but as there is no greenway connecting our end of town to the rest of it, I have to travel along this busy part of McNulty Road (which doesn’t even have a footpath!) to access Summerfields Estate before crossing Waenga Drive and then on to Goldfields Primary School. The greenway only starts once I’m across Waenga Drive (which by the way doesn’t have a pedestrian crossing either). But that’s not what I’m writing to you about - as a first step to make my school way a little safer, I am writing to NZTA to ask them to urgently reduce the speed limit from 70kmh to 50kmh at our end of town. The speed limit was ok in the old days when our end of town was just paddocks, but now there are many houses with lots of fellow Goldfields students (many of them younger than me). Thank you for your support!
