Bring Flava Radio back to FM in the Bay of Plenty and Taranaki

On Friday the 22nd of June 2018 the radio waves suddenly changed for Flava Radio listeners in the Bay of Plenty and Taranaki.

Instead of the up beat, modern and "in tune" radio station we all love, we were very surprised to be instead, listening to classical music!

This is outrageous and completely out of touch with the local population and local Business.

Tauranga for example is hosting arguably the largest Reggae festival in the Country "One Love" and this is backed by Flava Radio. Is it a major oversight on NZME to remove broadcasting of Flava in the home of One Love Festival.

They assume everyone uses I Heart Radio to listen to Flava, but not everyone has access to data, multiple people only have FM radio in their cars with no aux input or the aforementioned data requirement.

Its a very sad decision that appears to have been kept under wraps.

PLEASE BRING FLAVA BACK TO THE BAY AND TARANAKI (we feel you Naki!)
