The New Zealand government has made many law changes over the last 18 months with regard to Covid-19.

There are also many petitions happening in NZ right now. What else is there to do?

To start with people were stuck at home under Level 4 restrictions for weeks. (With their children!)

We are now at the stage where Auckland is in Level 3.1. This mostly has negative limitations for businesses.  Socially, picnics have been added.

One aspect of these level 3.1 restrictions is very beneficial to children (and parents). That being the requirement for all playdates to be undertaken outdoors. 

Children now cannot sit indoors in zombie states on xboxes or playstations.  They must climb trees, play basketball and play outdoors and parents now have government backing them up for once when they tell their children to play outside!

This petition would like outdoor playdates for children under 12 to become law.

We know the Labour Government makes up new laws at the drop of the hat, so let's see this one happen.
