Let whānau mourn their dead in Level_2

0 have signed. Let’s get to 25,000!

Under the Level 2 Covid-19 restrictions, whānau in Aotearoa are unable to mourn their loved ones. No more than 10 people can be present at Tangi (no change from Level 3).

Bars, cafés, malls, and classrooms of 30 are all allowed with social distancing measures in place, but it seems the government doesn't trust Māori, or grieving families to adhere to the rules.

Sign the petition to help put pressure on the government to ease the restrictions and allow families to farewell their loved ones with dignity.
