Help change the ‘Harmful Digital Communications Act’ to include ‘Revenge Porn’
The NZ policies “harmful digital communications act” and “privacy act” does apply to the distribution of sexually explicit content online but NOT Revenge Porn. “Revenge Porn” as portrayed on the media, is the act of sharing explicit images and videos made by a partner in an intimate relationship with acknowledged consent at the time. Without the victims consent, the content is exploited and used for ‘blackmail.’
We want to demand New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinta Arden and the NZ Government in general, to improve the ‘Harmful Digtial Communications Act’ and ‘Privacy Act’ policy by adding it to the Parlimentary Tin. The Parlimentary biscuit tin is a way for Government to randomly select which members’ bill will be presented to parliament.
By signing this petition, you are helping current and future victims of ‘Revenge Porn’ get justice and punish the perpetrators! REVENGE PORN IS NOT SEXY!
CHANGE STARTS WITH YOU!
