It's a completely ridiculous notion to try and revert the environment to how it was before we arrived.
If that's the plan, every person without māori blood should vacate before 2050.

Poisoning the ground and killing all the life we've introduced is yet another example of humanity believing we have the power to control nature and "fix" it.
LET NATURE FIX IT'S SELF!

The damn arrogance of it makes my blood boil.

1080 is a cruel and indiscriminate poison that has not been researched adequately.

I'm signing this petition because I believe that 1080 is an unkind way of killing , it is evil to watch an animal die an excruciating death and it's not immediate - it is disgusting that the SPCA haven't objected to this poisoning and it doesn't discrimminate what it kills. Clean green - what a laugh! We have a potential industry of pure possum meat that can taste better than lamb and far cheaper to grow.
