Tell Sen. Golden to Vote "Yes" on Single-Payer for NYS!

I am a New Yorker and resident of Senator Martin Golden’s District 22. Only a single cosponsoring vote remains to move the New York Health Act (A.4738/S.4840) out of the Health Committee and onto a floor vote. I demand that Senator Golden be that sponsor. New York’s own universal, single-payer healthcare system means that ALL residents will receive comprehensive coverage (incl. primary of your choice, specialists, mental health, vision, dental, prescription drugs, and more) on a graduated income scale that would benefit families making less than $400,000, without premiums or co-pays. The cost will be less than NY currently pays for the administrative costs of working with commercial insurers.
I believe Sen. Golden must free the bill from committee so that it can be voted on by the full Senate before the conclusion of the legislative session. Universal healthcare is a national goal and New York should lead the way!
