Recently there have been a number of horrendous animal abuse cases in The Central New York area. A dog was nearly starved to death while chained in a basement. Another was dragged to her death behind a pick up truck that was driving down an interstate. New York Lawmakers need to show animal abusers that their actions are indeed criminal. New laws need to be created that impose lengthy jail or prison terms as well as hefty fines to those convicted of animal abuse. Animals can not speak. They look towards us for their care.I can only imagine what went through the minds of the above two animals. Let's be their voice.
