There are many undocumented immigrants all over the U.S., and New York City is the home to many of them. Undocumented immigrants don't have enough access to the healthcare that they need. Health insurance costs a lot of money, which most undocumented immigrants do not have, since they do not have papers to work. New York needs to have easier access to healthcare. If we raise enough awareness to this issue, and get enough people to support this petition, we can bring this issue to the New York Department of Health, and officials of New York. With this awareness, they can make change, and possibly even make a new insurance plan fit to needs of the undocumented immigrants who need it. If this does succeed, the quality of life of undocumented immigrants in New York will increase.
