Justice for boxer Andrew Golota! Overturn DQ's vs Riddick Bowe!

On July 11th, 1996 and December 14th 1996 a grave injustice occurred when heavyweight boxer Andrew Golota was disqualified from fights vs former champion Riddick Bowe. The first fight took place in the state of New York and was under the supervision of the New York State Athletic Commission while the 2nd fight was in New Jersey and fell under the auspice of the New Jersey Athletic Control Board. In both fights Mr. Golota boxed very well and was clearly winning both contests. Mr. Golota did some of his best work when he landed numerous ferocious body punches to Mr. Bowe. Unfortunately in both fights the referee incorrectly ruled Mr. Golota's LEGAL body punches, some perhaps were borderline but in no way illegal, as low blows and eventually disqualified Mr. Golota. I am hopeful that all boxing fans will sign this petition and undo the horrible injustice perpetrated against Mr. Golota over 20 years ago. The disqualification defeats should be overturned and changed to victories by way of KO for Mr. Golota as Mr. Bowe was clearly unable to continue either fight and should have been counted out.
