As a single father of a 14 year old teen, And I’m sure many other fathers, mothers and gender neutral parents feel the same. I think it’s time we start teaching our daughters how to defend themselves from predators and start teaching them self defense as part of gym class. I’d like for all parents to help me and sign this petition please. It will be sent to the New York governor and I’m hoping that we as a state can be the first to start this. Yes it’s sad we even have to think about this but I feel it’s 100% necessary and should replace something like square dancing or pickle ball.
