During the Pandemic, many cooks, lunch aides, and assistant cooks were mandated to work and serve food to the public without a pay increase. Several employees has either resigned or was terminated leaving behind several positions and work loads. New York City Department of Education refuses to increase the pay of workers who continue to serve and cook with little to no help. This petition is to help us be recognized for our hard work we’ve accomplished and to be paid proper living wages.
