There a plans for a 111,324-square-foot commercial building in the Pelham Bay neighborhood of the Bronx, a construction application filed Friday June 9th with the city’s Department of Buildings shows the builders will devote the majority of the space to medical facilities with the first two floors for non specific commercial space.. The 10-story building will be located at 3250 Westchester Avenue in the immediate are of Pelham Bay residential homes. There will only be 128 Parking spaces for such a large building this will flow visitors out on to an already busy community with no parking. Because the property is in an R7-1 Zone, the developer will try to build "as of right" and will not need Community Board Approval. We must not allow another developer to come in an ruin our residential community. We have homes and families here. Please sign this petition for support to let the Buildings Dept and our elected officials know this is not okay.
