New Rochelle is no longer a safe school district for our children to attend.

I have lost faith in the discipline and the safety of our children. We need to be stricter towards the kids that are a problem to protect the kids that adhere to the rules. My kids tell me what happens on a daily basis and it is shocking. We need people in power that put rules in place and act on the consequences if they are not followed. We are building all these high rises in New Rochelle. What is the first thing a young family looks into when they are looking for a new home? The school system. I know people that won't move here because of the things they here about our schools.

Want him to stay within the state tax cap. I would also suggest making sure students registered actually live in our district and not just using relatives or friends addresses.

Change has not taken place and there is a lack of transparency. There is more concern with liability than safety. Time for a change in the administration..

I signed because Dr Osborne has refused to answer many of my emails over the years -often trivial questions about a particular issues with one of our schools or the general vague practice of the school district. His lack of transparency and heightened hypocrisy wins the prize. He is an unhealthy control freak in our district. Suffice it to say we as parents want the school district to succeed; we have ideas and suggestions. We live here - he does not. There are other worthy candidates that we must look at. Martin Sanchez, former school board member.
