This shouldn't even be a discussion or debate.

A "teacher" with multiple accounts of displaying anti-LGBT, racist, and predatory comments/slurs has allowed for racial injustice. When Ozni, a young black student at NPHS, was called slurs by another in the classroom, and when he refused to leave the room - refused to obey like an animal to the clear prejudice against him, police resources were, once again, abused and misused and now he faces possible 6 months to two years jail time.

We've already secured him the money for his bail (amazingly overnight, it seems) - now the next step is to remove the corrupting influence.  NP has a history in recent years of failing to protect or uphold the safety and rights of LGBT students/students of color, living up to the expectations set by the lip-packed endorsement of the Confederacy by a sizeable chunk of the student body (darkly ironic, given the Laporte area's close proximity to the Northern border).  If there exists a single figure of authority that wishes to challenge this stigma, even just to the bare minimum amount, more than any one has thus far, DO IT NOW - the only time there will be a more obvious chance is when the system will be too broken to repair or salvage.

Fire the teacher and expel the student.  Do not let Ozni just serve as some sort of martyr for the people of color at NP. Parents: learn how to raise your kids.
