In recent unfortunate events, there was a breakout of Covid-19 at the New Milford High School. Contact traced students have been told to quarantine 10 days since Thursday, 4/29 mandated by state law. Meaning quarantine for many students has been set to end Sunday, 5/9. The class of 2021 has their prom set for Saturday, 5/8 which doesn’t allow many of the students placed under quarantine to be able take part in their senior prom. The class of 2021 has gone through so much these past few years- and although last minute- we are asking for prom to be pushed back in order to allow all students to be able to attend. Covid-19 guidelines should be followed and taken seriously- no arguing with that. Although, if we could have your help in pushing it back in order to allow all our class of 2021 to enjoy this once in a lifetime night, please sign our petition.
