Our Mission: Through academic rigor, individualized supports, and character development, Solare Collegiate Charter School equips all students in grades five through eight with the academic and personal skills to excel in the high school and college of their choice.
Zip code should not determine the academic success of a student. However, in the 87121 zip code, students are significantly under-performing in elementary and middle school. Currently only 1 out of every 20 eighth graders go into high school proficient in math, and only 1 out of every 10 eighth graders in English/Language Arts. Solare Collegiate aims to change those statistics. Through our unique extended school day and school year, as well as our double periods of Math and English/Language Arts, our Heritage Spanish and New Mexico Culture program, and our daily individualized tutoring program, Solare Collegiate will prepare students to excel in the high schools and colleges of their choice.
