I'm signing to ensure that these services are neccesary and needed in this time of uncertainty. Mental health affects physical health, a person's functionality, and their ability to take care of themselves and others. We need to empower people, not take away needed services.

I’m signing because our youths Mental Health Services are of great importance. Enduring our Nation’s Crisis at such a time with COVID 19 has placed such unexpected expectations upon families which can be challenging. Mental Health Services must be a continued service for our children and families.

Thank you,
Shelley Porter

I work in mental health, and have been in the field for 20 years. Mental Health has never received adequate funding, and this needs to change. We cannot have a fully functioning society when the mental health needs of the nation are not a priority. Additionally, this is more relevant than ever now, during this pandemic, when mental health treatment is even harder to access than usual.
