The population boom in Lakewood is out of control. The strain of this overdevelopment has drained resources and it's not fair to take desperately needed funds from the public schools and give them to private schools (ex. 1.8 million per month to the School for Children with Hidden Intelligence & the founder is now under indictment for stealing $600,000 in funds, really???) Private schools should remain private and should be funded accordingly. Whatever happened to separation between church and state? why are we funding the religious laws of a few such as boys and girls riding on separate buses which I understand cost the township an additional 2million per yr? is this even legal?? I respect the traditions of this religion but I cannot condone financing it with taxpayer $$. Something needs to be done quickly. Whatever the religious traditions are the State and local governments (taxpayers) should not bear the burden of paying for it.

Our children deserve the best FAPE and I personally know one of the teachers you laid off! This teacher is amazing and not only is she going to suffer but now the kids will suffer not having her and I'm sure so many more great teachers.
Poor form Lakewood...Poor form indeed!

Lakewood is known for being ghetto and trashy. Lakewood has raised me and many others form a very young age. Public school kids need good education as well

We need to help youth who are our future. We need to make sure we support teachers who are on the front lines teaching our youth.
