BMX riding is a huge sport and was even in the Olympics this year. In New Jersey all of the skateparks are made with the same intention to allow kids to have fun and to stay out of trouble. But most of the towns of the jersey shore restrict bikes from being aloud in most skateparks. The reasoning of why they do this is because they think that our bikes break the ramps or that the sport is to dangerous but the truth is that yes the sport is dangerous but just like skateboarding and scootering which are aloud at skateparks are the same risk level as BMX. I am starting this petition to get as much signatures as possible and bring this statement to the governor of New Jersey to hopefully get a couple of BMX only skateparks made in parts of Jersey.
