Wendell Paul Allman was recently been charged and encarcerated in Middlesex County for charges associated with weapons possession. No violent offense, injury to any person(s), or property.

Wendell was served a sentence of 5 years, that appears "heavy handed", at minimum, especially in light of his charges, criminal history, and the Covid-19 pandemic.

Wendell is 62 years of age and in fragile health to say the least. We the people and his family are afraid that he would not survive in such an environment, and sure that the level of care and diet he needs to survive would not be met. I believe he needs to receive some punishment for his actions, so a lesson may be learned. But, appeal to you, that he do so in some other form such as probation, community service, etc.

Wendell's documented physical ailments include the following:

"Kidney failure. Hypertension. CHF. Just got over Covid and has sustained respiratory stress as a result. Polyps on vocal cords which are pre cancerous. Had 4 or 5 surgeries on the throat already, and had other surgeries due to other issues." 

From correctional facility personnel, as a result of Wendell's physical condition, he remains on oxygen 24 hours of the day, and is therefore unable to be moved.
