Franklin Township Public schools are in Somerset, New Jersey. As we all know, there has been one case of the new virus known as, COVID-19. This virus is starting to become more dangerous as the number of deaths are adding up & the spread of the virus is growing. Schools around Franklin High School are closing. North Brunswick, East Brunswick & South Brunswick have all closed and some have considered online courses until the protection of COVID-19 is guaranteed.

The primary focus for this petition is for it to reach the Superintendent for Franklin. Many students have been coughing & showing symptoms of sickness. It’s hard to tell the difference between COVID-19 and a flu or cold. Please consider closing schools and continuing online courses if needed until we have a very low to 0% chance of catching the deadly virus.
